BRICK performed at the 28th Annual Savannah Black Heritage Festival on February 11, 2017 at the Savannah Civic Center for fans of every age. Thank you to Savannah State University (SSU) and the City of Savannah for sponsoring the festival.
Songstress Terri Brown will join Vikki Don on background vocals with #thebandbrick on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Black Heritage Festival in Savannah, Georgia. Terri is a native of New Orleans Louisiana and started singing and dancing in the mirror at an early age. In 1996 she joined forces with the Urban Gospel Group Trin-i-Tee 5:7. In 1998, the group released their first album to debut at number #1 on the top gospel charts featuring the hit single “God’s Grace”.
In 1999 Terri decided to pursue her acting career and joined the stage play circuit. Terri was featured in Tyler Perry’s hit play “I Can Do Band All By Myself” alone with Platinum Selling Artist Tamela Mann and Carl Pertile. She also toured with Je’ Caryous Johnsons hit stage play “Cheaters” next to Grammy Award winner Brian McKnight, Carl Payne, and Wendy Raquel Williams. Singing is a gift from God that Terri enjoys sharing with the world.
BRICK had a great time being Guest DJs with Mitch Faulkner for the R&B Throwback Party at Kiss 104.1FM on December 17, 2016. Vicki Don will blend her vocal talents with BRICK on December 18, 2016 for Michael Mason’s 3rd Annual Holiday Event supporting Juvenile Diabetes in Memphis, TN; and for the New Year’s Eve Old School Throwdown Party & Comedy Show in Atlanta, GA. Vicki grew up in Knoxville and has been singing since childhood. Having been involved in chamber choir, church choir, and various musicals throughout high school, Vicki is no stranger to the stage. After moving to Atlanta, she formed a following performing in local jazz clubs and bars. The sound that Vicki has is a commanding and infectious tone, modern in feel. Her musical influences include R&B, Jazz, Gospel Rock & Country.
Vicki has performed in a variety of places in the US as the female lead singer in The Celebrity All-Star Band. Entertaining a crowd is what fuels Vicki Don and she has no problem getting the job done. Music has been and will always be Vicki’s first love.
BRICK blazed the stage along with The Dazz Band and Mary Jane Girls on October 22, 2016 at the California Education & Performing Arts Center in Ontario, CA.
The crowd went crazy when Sleepy Brown, son of Jimmy Brown, took the stage at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater in Atlanta on August 20, 2016. The concert also included performances by Rose Royce, Midnight Star and Morris Day and the Time.
Rae Evans will blend his vocal talents with BRICK on August 20, 2016 in Atlanta, GA at the 2016 Wolf Creek Funk Party. Rae is a soulful, energetic and heartfilled singer, who’s roots are from church. Born in Seattle Washington, Rae recorded his first album with a community choir and began to sing vocals for gospel artists and others such as P.Diddy and The Family Tour.
Now a resident of Atlanta GA, he continues to perform with major celebrities such as: BRICK, Kelly Price, Tweet, Calvin Richardson, Ann Nesby, Lenny Williams, Glenn Jones, Monica, Algebra and Syleena Johnson and many others. Rae has also appeared in Television and Award Shows such as: Season 1 &2 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, The Trumpet Awards 2014 and Soul Train Awards 2011.
